Are Tall Women In Danger??

And why I've been incognito...

Welcome (or Welcome Back) Bestie <3

My name is India, and this is the March(ish) issue of A Tall Girl’s Newsletter, an add-on of A Tall Girl’s Podcast, which is dedicated to helping tall women feel more confident in their height.

It might take you 60 seconds, but it’d help this podcast reach the right people by leaving a review. Thank you for taking the time to read this newsletter! I really do appreciate it.

😬 I’ve Been A Bit Incognito

Hey y’all! 👋

The last newsletter I sent was sometime in late January/early February, and I did in fact miss a newsletter issue.

Life has just been crazy with this new school semester. Particularly, with one class…

I don’t know, it just seems like some professors don’t understand that we have work and lives outside of grad school, and just assign an unreasonable amount of work ://

Anyways, here’s what’s been happening on my end recently:

Busy, Busy Bee. Outside of this podcast, I’m currently getting my Master’s and working. I work in nonprofit communications and have recently been given more responsibility (which I’m grateful for because that shows that they trust me), which has definitely been a bit of a learning curve. I’ve also been attending more in-person networking events and workshops to connect with others in the field. It’s definitely been a lot of commuting, but it’s always great to meet new people!

Prioritization. While yes, I’ve been all over the place, I have definitely been prioritizing (or trying to prioritize) my rest and sleep. Especially with the snowy weather in the Northeast, it’s definitely been easier to stay indoors. Hence why I haven’t been as active or on time with things for the podcast. I love doing stuff and being busy, but I also love not feeling stressed trying to manage everything lol.

Tall Group in NYC. Fun fact, I’m part of this Facebook group called Tall Addicts’ Society. But what I didn’t know is that they hosted monthly events in NYC, ATL, and the DMV area. I received a notification on Facebook, actually, from one of the founders, inviting me to RSVP for one of their events. I decided to got and it was a blast!! The vlog is here

Feel free to check out some snow pics below!

😨 Are Tall Women In Danger??

Our height as tall women often brings up different emotions in people.

Some people feel admiration towards us, often telling us how beautiful and elegant we are.

Some feel jealousy, which I don’t blame ‘em because being tall is lowkey fire. But this jealousy can quickly lead to insecurity, causing them to act weirdly towards us.

And some people feel angry. Yes, angry towards the tall girlies lol. Angry, mad, pissed off, I’m sure you get the picture. For what reason? You’ll see in the episode of the month.

But this anger can lead to terrible behaviors ranging from constant insults to physical altercations. YES! People are putting their hands on tall women BECAUSE they feel a certain way about their height.

In the episode of the month, we are diving deeper into this and answering the question: Are tall women in danger? Tune in for more!
