đź‘©Some Important Updates
Alrighty y’all A LOT has happened over the past few weeks, so let’s break it down:
🎤 I went to a CONCERTTTT
![]() | Y’all I went to a concert! I went to see Charli XCX in concert last week and I had a BLAST. Okay, you’re probably like babes, why is this so monumental for you? Like we all have been to concerts before (I would think). Well, I went to this concert all by myself :) Believe it or not, I really used to feel embarrassed doing things by myself. I thought that made me look like a weirdo truth be told… |
Eating alone? Looked lonely. Shopping alone? Have no friends. Going to a concert alone???? Forget about it. But I think as you get older, you kinda want to spend more time by yourself.
Just enjoy your own company and really get to know yourself on a deeper level. Also, it’s a great way to make new connections! While I didn’t necessarily make any new connections at this concert, I will say I enjoyed sing(scream)ing at the top of my lungs lol 12958/10 experience if you ask me.
🩺 I had a procedure ://
Okay, don’t go crazy over this lol. It was a pretty common procedure. I had a colonoscopy done. And yes, it’s even common for people in their 20s. Kudos to this generation for taking more control over their health!
If you didn’t know, I’ve been having CRAZYYYY digestive issues. Like heavy on the bloating and a bunch of other things that I won’t get too deep into lol. After going back and forth with doctors, constantly having to fight to get tests that should have been recommended in the first place, and doing so much research, I finally got the tests I needed, and it was found that there was loads of inflammation in my gut. Yup…IN MY GUT.
Anyways, one random day at my part-time job, my new gastroenterologist called me and was like, “hey girlie, you needa get a colonoscopy like yesterday aha”. I was like oh??? I will say I was a bit taken aback, especially because I had a work meeting in a few minutes but also I thought that was a thing for people in their 50s and 60s?? But after doing research (and I say research lightly because I looked on TikTok), I found that there are many 20 and 30-year-olds getting colonoscopies.
So I felt better about that. But fasting for 24 hours AND drinking some nasty solution called “prep”??? Horrendous. I love me some food, and I love me substances that aren’t extremely bitter. Pro tip: Take sips of apple juice in between sips of that nasty solution.
Anyways, results show that I have Crohn’s disease. More updates on that later/on my socials, but at least it’s not colon cancer :/
👚 Tall girl merch?????
Yup, MERCH. A Tall Girl’s Merch????? That sounds fun!!!
Yeah, I have been thinking about this for a little while now (literally over a year). I know I don’t want to do clothes (at least for right now) because figuring out the tall girl dimensions is something I DO NOT WANT TO DO. But I made stickers for the Tall Size Pop-up Event and thought, why don’t I do something like that? Maybe stickers? Maybe cups/mugs? Keychains????
We’ll see…
But in the meantime, you can reply to this email or fill out this survey and let me know what you guys are looking for :) Will keep y’all updated.

The Original Barrel Pant? Try a Tall-Girl-Approved Harem Pant This Summer
Barrel pants are still having a major moment—and I get why. The exaggerated volume, the tapered leg, the “I didn’t try too hard but still look cool” vibe? Totally flattering, especially on tall frames. But maybe you're not sure about diving into the barrel pant trend. Maybe the structure feels a little too bold for your style. Or maybe you just want a similarly relaxed silhouette that’s easier to style for everyday wear.
Enter: the harem pant.
Specifically, I’ve been loving the Tall Harem Pants from Paryse Style—a brand that’s finally giving us tall women actual boho-inspired pieces in the inseams we need. These pants strike that perfect balance between effortless and elevated. They’re lightweight, breezy, and move with you, making them ideal for summer. And honestly? They feel like the original barrel pant.
Think about it—harem pants have that same volume-through-the-leg vibe with a soft taper at the ankle. The silhouette is forgiving, comfortable, and gives off a cool, artsy edge. It’s the kind of pant that looks like you know what you’re doing with your wardrobe, without you having to overthink it.
If you're trying harem pants (or barrel pants) for the first time, here are a few tall-girl-friendly ways to style them:
Running errands? Throw them on with a cute sweatshirt and a cool sneaker. It’s effortless and comfy but still pulled together.
Weekend casual: Add a denim jacket and leather sandal—easy, breathable, and ready for anything from brunch to a Target run.
Going out? Pair with a crochet tank and heels and layer on the jewelry. The relaxed drape of the pant balances perfectly with a more fitted top for an easy date night fit.
Harem pants don’t have to be reserved for the beach or vacation (though they’d be great there too). With the right pieces, you can easily make them part of your everyday summer wardrobe.
Bohemian style has never really gone out of fashion (just ask Free People), and now with brands like Paryse Style offering tall-friendly options, we can finally get the look without sacrificing fit. These harem pants are a great swap for your usual straight-leg jeans or trousers when you want something that’s equal parts trendy and timeless.
So if you’ve been curious about barrel pants—or wide-leg silhouettes in general—but haven’t found the right pair, harem pants might be the easy, breathable summer update your wardrobe needs.
🤦‍♀️ So Tall Girls Are Trending on Social Media??
Tall girls are trending y’all!! It’s our TIME. Well…kinda.
Truth be told there are a couple reasons why tall girls are trending.
There are trends that involve ACTUAL tall girls and then there are viral posts of people talking about tall girls.
And the latter involves men.
Yup, there are viral videos of men talking about how tall girls are beautiful and stunning and confident (lowkey stuff we’ve already known but anyways…) and these videos are getting tens of thousands of likes and hundreds of thousands of views.
You may be thinking what’s wrong with that?? There’s nothing wrong with what they’re saying truthfully. My issue is that this idea itself is trending. And trends don’t last long.
On top of that, there are comments saying “Y’all finally like tall girls all of a sudden??”
I mean, I don’t blame that person for asking because many people especially men having been hyping up shorter women and lowkey masculinizing us this entire time. Wanna learn more about why this trend is an issue? Take a listen to the episode of the month below!
