🥳 We Made It To The End (Kinda)…
I hope you had a wonderful holiday with family, friends, or even by yourself!! We did it, y’all!! YOU did THAT!! 👏👏👏
We made it through the gift shopping, holiday parties, long nights of cleaning, and sooooo much more. We’ve even made it to the end of Podmas and (kinda) the end of the year! We still have a few days left in 2024, which makes it a great time to reflect on all that has happened this past year. |
💭 Taking Time To Reflect On Your Year
2025 is gonna be our year, right??
I’m not sure how I feel about that statement, honestly.
Sometimes it’s easy to focus on what’s ahead and how we can make our lives 100000x better moving forward. But can we take a moment to be grateful for everything that happened this year—both the good and the bad? After all, those moments made us who we are today, right?
I have my moments too, where I get super excited to start fresh and move on from everything that happened this year. But it’s also so important to reflect on both the successes and failures of the past year.
👩🎓 I graduated from undergrad
📝 I got into the Master’s program of my dreams
💻 I’m leveling up in my freelance work
💪 I’m taking active measures to improve my health
😴 I’M FINALLY GETTING SLEEP LOL
🎓 I’m navigating post-grad life in a healthy way
❤️ I met some of you guys at the Tall Size pop-up shop!!!!!!!
But….
#️⃣ My Pinterest is flopping lol
🥘 I have new food sensitivities???
💸 I spent wayyyyy too much money this past holiday season
📱 I’m getting worse at responding to text messages
👨💻 Nowadays, I feel too busy for my friends ://
🏋️ I haven’t been going to the gym consistently
But isn’t that part of life? Experiencing the ups and downs, appreciating all the lessons, and embracing all the emotions we’ve had as HUMAN BEINGS—that’s truly a blessing.
So for the next few days, let’s pause. Let’s stop thinking about everything we’ll do in the future and take a moment to appreciate all that’s happened up to this point—both the good and the bad. After all, these experiences are shaping the person stepping into 2025 with strength, confidence, and gratitude.
🎀 Wrapping Up the Season: A Tall Girl’s Guide to Self-Care During the Holidays
Rachael is a tall fashion creator standing at 6’3” whose mission is to find quality, affordable clothing that caters to tall frames. To follow Rachael and see her fashion picks and try-ons, check out her Instagram. |
Holidays are a time for giving, but don't forget to give yourself the gift of self-care through fashion. Look for pieces that are comfortable, flattering, and easy to wear—cozy sweaters, well-fitting jeans, and chic coats. Fashion can be a form of self-care when it helps you feel confident and relaxed.
It’s easy to get caught up in holiday sales, but don’t overextend yourself financially. Trends will return, and the tall fashion market is expanding, so missing out on one item isn’t the end of the world. Shop within your means, and if there’s something you want but can’t afford yet, save it to a Pinterest wish list or track it with apps like LTK for price drops.
Brands like Old Navy, ASOS, and Simply Tall offer high-quality tall clothing at affordable prices, with well-constructed options that feel luxurious. Simply Tall also has great clearance finds. This season, prioritize self-care by shopping smart and investing in pieces that truly elevate your style and confidence.
While we’re on the topic of style and confidence…. 👇
