🎂 OMG I’m 23???

Y’all, it was my birthday this past weekend!! 🎉 I can’t believe I’m already 23 years old.

And honestly, some of y’all can’t believe it either because many of you thought I was older! (I'll take it as a compliment, lol.)

You know how every year when your birthday comes around, you end up doing a massive reflection of your life? Yeah... I definitely had quite a few of those moments this past week.

I found myself thinking a lot about my journey, especially with my confidence around my height. 

Truthfully, I only really became comfortable with my height about 2 or 3 years ago. So when you think about it, compared to the other 20-21 years, that’s not a lot of time.

I genuinely spent so much of my life hating my height (yes, even when I first started this podcast lol).

But meeting the tall girl community online and offline has helped me grow (figuratively, not literally aha) in ways I never expected. And so I want to thank you guys. For tuning in to episodes. Every comment you’ve written. Every share. Every DM. 

None of this would be possible without you.

Yup, I’m sure you remember when someone told you they thought you were intimidating or scary just because of your height.

People will treat you differently — and sometimes even unfairly — because of how tall you are. We always hear that height is a “plus,” but as a tall woman, it definitely comes with challenges.
