A Tall Girl's Podmas Week 1 is here!

Welcome (or Welcome Back) Bestie <3

🎄 Podmas Is Here!!!

Welcome to Podmas Week 1, everyone!

If you didn’t know, Podmas is like Vlogmas—a holiday tradition where creators post daily, Christmas-themed content leading up to December 25th. Every year, I say I’ll try Podmas, but when the time comes, I always back out.

Why?

Because creating 25 episodes in one month is a lot, especially when I’m juggling my marketing career, my health, and podcast.

This year, I’m taking a different route: holiday-themed content on socials and weekly newsletters instead. It’s not the traditional Podmas, but as a one-woman show, I’ve got to adapt; hope you stick around for the festive fun!

This is supposed to be the most wonderful time of the year, right? WRONG. Well, not completely wrong, but keep on reading.

Family drama. Travel and money stresses. Unwarranted questions. Getting sick often. Not finding the right clothes.

Any of these sound familiar? Read below for a little guide that we put together to ease some of that stress:

1. Travel Tall While Traveling Smart

Chances are you’re probably doing a lot of traveling this season to visit family and friends. But what about limited legroom and sitting in uncomfortable positions? Fear not, we've got you covered.

  • Supportive Neck Pillows:  Neck pain shouldn’t ruin your trip—find one that actually supports your neck so you can snooze in peace.

  • Extra legroom? Yes, please—consider upgrading to premium seating if you can, or find the aisle seat for a little extra space.

  • Comfy clothes for days: For loungewear, American Tall is unmatched—try their hoodies and matching joggers for the ultimate cozy set. Athleta's Endless Pants are also a game changer. - Rachael

    • Pro Tip: Roll your clothes. Not only does it save space, but it helps reduce wrinkles!

2. Self-Care Is Your Best Friend

The holidays can turn anyone into a stress ball, but tall girls have a superpower: the ability to rise above it all – literally and figuratively (hehe see what I did there).

  • There’s always time for “me time” - take 10 minutes daily to meditate or unwind with a cup of tea.

  • Keep that body moving too—whether it’s a brisk walk to the mailbox or some chill yoga.

  • Pro tip: Saying “no” IS SELF-CARE TOO! Read that again.
